#SYSTEMPHARM #UKRAINE

International Gynecological Health Day is celebrated on September 10
Gynecological health is an integral part of the general well-being of every woman. Every year, many countries celebrate Women’s Gynecological Health Day to emphasize the importance of regular examination, prevention and care of the reproductive system. This is a great reason to remind women of the need to take care of themselves and their health, without delaying a visit to the doctor and undergoing important examinations.

Why is gynecological health important?A woman’s reproductive health encompasses not only physical well-being, but also emotional and mental comfort. Normal functioning of the reproductive system is the basis of harmony in the body. Problems in this area can affect general health, quality of life and even self-esteem.

Diseases or disorders detected in time make it possible to avoid serious complications. It is important to remember that regular preventive examinations help prevent diseases such as endometriosis, uterine fibroids, various types of inflammation and even cancer.
Basic steps to support gynecological health

Regular visits to the gynecologist. At least once a year, every woman should visit a doctor for a preventive examination. It is important to carry out ultrasound, mammary gland examination and laboratory tests to monitor the state of health.

Proper hygiene. Too aggressive use of intimate hygiene products can disrupt the natural balance of microflora, so you should choose delicate products that do not contain strong chemicals or fragrances.
Timely diagnosis of infections. Bacterial, fungal and viral infections can lead to serious complications if not treated early. In case of any changes (itching, unusual discharge, pain), consult a doctor immediately.

Control over the menstrual cycle. Irregular or very painful menstruation can be a sign of hormonal disorders or inflammatory processes. Keeping a menstrual calendar helps to control changes in the body.

Balanced diet and physical activity. A diet rich in vitamins, trace elements and antioxidants keeps the reproductive system in good condition. An active lifestyle contributes to the improvement of blood circulation and general health of the body.

Hormonal balance. Hormones play a key role in regulating the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and other processes in the body. It is important to monitor hormone levels, especially during periods of significant change (such as pregnancy or menopause).

Mental health and stress. Stress can seriously affect gynecological health. High levels of stress can disrupt the menstrual cycle and cause hormonal imbalance. It is important to find time for rest and take care of your emotional state.

Prevention of serious diseasesAmong the main threats to gynecological health are cervical cancer, ovarian cancer and endometrial cancer. However, most of these diseases can be prevented or detected at an early stage with regular check-ups and tests, including Pap smears and human papillomavirus (HPV) screening.

You should also not ignore such symptoms as:
– Sudden pains in the lower abdomen;
– Irregular bleeding or intermenstrual discharge;- Unusual discharge with an unpleasant smell;
– Painful sensations during intercourse.

These symptoms may indicate the presence of serious problems and require immediate medical attention.

Women’s Gynecological Health Day is not just a date on the calendar, but a reminder of the importance of regular self-care. We urge all women not to neglect their health, to be attentive to their bodies and to undergo examinations in a timely manner.

Take care of yourself and your gynecological health, because it is the key to harmony, energy and a full life!
Your health is your responsibility.
