Primeargin
Pharmacotherapeutic group:

Composition:
Active substance: arginine hydrochloride; 1 ml of solution contains 42 mg of arginine hydrochloride. Excipient: water for injections.
Pharmaceutical form:
Solution for infusion.
Indications:
Metabolic alkalosis, hyperammonemia, atherosclerosis of cardiac and cerebral vessels, peripheral vascular atherosclerosis (including manifestations of intermittent claudication), diabetic angiopathy, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, hypercholesterolemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary hypertension, fetal growth restriction (FGR), and pre-eclampsia — as part of complex therapy.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the medicinal product. Severe renal impairment, hyperchloremic acidosis; history of allergic reactions; use of potassium-sparing diuretics and spironolactone. Myocardial infarction.
Method of administration and dosage:
The medicinal product is administered intravenously by drip at a rate of 10 drops per minute for the first 10–15 minutes, then the administration rate is increased to 30 drops per minute. The daily dose is 100 ml of solution. The maximum infusion rate should not exceed 20 mmol/h. For children under 12 years of age, the dose is 5–10 ml per 1 kg of body weight per day. Do not use any remaining medicinal product.
Children:
The medicinal product is intended for use in children aged 3 years and older.
Adverse reactions:
Hyperthermia, feeling of heat, body aches, joint pain, hypersensitivity reactions, dyspnea, fluctuations in blood pressure, heart rate changes, headache, dizziness, weakness, seizures, tremors, hyperkalemia.
Incompatibility:
The medicinal product is incompatible with thiopental.
