LEDIMEC ULTRA

is a medical device in the form of suppositories for vaginal and rectal use. Its combined formulation, containing aloe extract and dimethyl sulfoxide, is designed to support the physiological condition of mucous membranes.

Thanks to its active components, the product helps create optimal conditions for supporting the natural restoration processes of mucous membranes and tissues. It promotes improved metabolic processes in tissues, which may contribute to maintaining a healthy functional state in conditions associated with discomfort of the female urogenital system and the rectum.

Intended Purpose:

LEDIMEC ULTRA suppositories are intended to support the proper functioning of mucous membranes and tissues of the female and male urogenital systems, as well as the lower gastrointestinal tract.

For vaginal use, they are intended to promote tissue and mucosal restoration in cases of erosions, inflammatory conditions of the female genital organs (colpitis, vaginitis) of bacterial, fungal, or viral origin, adnexitis, endometritis, endometriosis, and vulvar itching.

For rectal use, they may be used in cases of rectal fissures and ulcers, hemorrhoids, painful bowel movements, proctitis, sphincteritis, and prostatitis.

The product helps accelerate the healing of postoperative wounds and tissue recovery following local radiation therapy.

Composition: 

Each suppository contains: semi-synthetic glycerides (hard fat), aloe extract 0.05 g (50 mg), dimethyl sulfoxide 0.3 g (300 mg).

Functional Properties:

Aloe extract enhances local immunity, promotes the regeneration of mucous membranes and tissues, accelerates granulation and epithelialization processes, and improves the healing of fissures and erosions.

Dimexide (dimethyl sulfoxide) is capable of penetrating cell membranes and reaching cells directly, reducing the content of biogenic amines in tissues. It transports the biologically active substances of aloe extract directly to damaged tissues, suppresses the activity of proteolytic enzymes involved in inflammatory processes, significantly reduces tissue edema and exudation, promotes tissue repair, and restores and enhances the sensitivity of microbial flora to antibiotics.

After administration, the synthetic glyceride mixture forming the suppository base softens under body temperature and dissolves in the vaginal or rectal environment, creating a protective film on the mucous membrane. This protective barrier supports regeneration and immune defense processes and accelerates healing.

The biologically active components of LEDIMEC ULTRA suppositories possess biostimulatory, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and hemostatic properties.

Directions for Use and Dosage:

The suppositories may be administered both vaginally and rectally.

Wash your hands thoroughly before use.

Separate one suppository from the blister strip along the perforation line. Pull apart the edges of the film in opposite directions to remove the suppository from the white polymer film cavity.

If the suppository is too soft, place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes or hold it under cold running water before removing it from the blister.

For vaginal administration, insert one suppository deeply into the vagina.

For rectal administration, insert one suppository deeply into the rectum (preferably after bowel evacuation).

Use 1 suppository 1–2 times daily for 5–15 days, or as recommended by a healthcare professional.

The course of use may be repeated if necessary.

Possible Adverse Reactions:

The use of any topical product, especially for prolonged periods, may cause allergic reactions. Symptoms may include burning sensation, itching, soreness, and redness.

If such symptoms occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a healthcare professional.
