Ladymec Ultra

Medical device in the form of suppositories for vaginal and rectal use. The combined formulation containing aloe extract and dimethyl sulfoxide is designed to support the physiological condition of the mucous membranes.

Thanks to its components, the product helps create optimal conditions for supporting the natural recovery processes of mucous membranes and tissues. It contributes to improving metabolic processes in tissues, which positively affects the overall functional condition in cases of discomfort associated with the female urogenital system and the rectum.

Intended use:

Ladymec Ultra suppositories are intended to support the proper functioning of the mucous membranes and tissues of the female and male urogenital systems, as well as the lower gastrointestinal tract. Vaginal use: to support the recovery of tissues and mucous membranes in cases of erosions and inflammatory conditions of the female genital organs (colpitis, vaginitis) of bacterial, fungal, or viral origin, adnexitis, endometritis, endometriosis, and vulvar itching. Rectal use: in cases of rectal fissures and ulcers, hemorrhoids, painful bowel movements, proctitis, sphincteritis, and prostatitis. The product also helps promote the healing of postoperative wounds and tissue recovery following local radiation therapy.

Composition:

1 suppository contains: semi-synthetic glycerides (hard fat), aloe extract 0.05 g (50 mg), dimethyl sulfoxide 0.3 g (300 mg).

Functional properties:

Aloe extract enhances local immunity, promotes the regeneration of mucous membranes and tissues, accelerates granulation and epithelialization, and supports the healing of fissures and erosions. Dimexide (dimethyl sulfoxide) is capable of penetrating through biological membranes directly into cells and reducing the content of biogenic amines in tissues. It transports the biologically active substances of aloe extract directly to damaged tissues, inhibits the activity of proteolytic enzymes responsible for inflammatory processes, significantly reduces tissue swelling and exudation, promotes tissue recovery, and increases as well as restores the sensitivity of microbial flora to antibiotics.

After administration, the synthetic glyceride mixture forming the suppository base softens at body temperature and dissolves in the vaginal or rectal environment, forming a protective film on the mucous membrane. This protective barrier supports regeneration, immune defense, and accelerates healing processes.

The biologically active components of Ladymec Ultra suppositories exhibit biostimulatory, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and hemostatic properties.

Directions for use and dosage:

The suppositories are intended for both vaginal and rectal use. Wash your hands thoroughly before administration. Separate one suppository from the blister pack along the perforated line. Peel apart the edges of the film in opposite directions to remove the suppository from the white polymer blister cavity. If the suppository is too soft, place it in the refrigerator for a few minutes or hold it under cold running water before removing it from the blister.

For vaginal administration, insert the suppository deeply into the vagina. For rectal administration, insert the suppository deeply into the rectum (preferably after bowel evacuation). Use 1 suppository once or twice daily for 5–15 days, or as recommended by your healthcare professional. If necessary, the course may be repeated.

Possible adverse reactions:

The use of any locally applied product, especially for prolonged periods, may cause allergic reactions, including burning, itching, soreness, or redness. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use of this medical device and consult a healthcare professional. If you notice any effects not listed in these instructions, inform your healthcare professional.

Warnings:

Contraindications include hypersensitivity and/or allergic reactions to any of the product components. Do not use in the presence of gynecological bleeding.

Use with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Observe personal hygiene and cleanliness when using the suppositories.

Do not use a suppository that has come into contact with a contaminated surface.

Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package.

Storage conditions and shelf life:

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture. Keep out of the reach of children.

5 suppositories in a blister. One or two blisters packed in a cardboard box together with the instructions for use.
