General Information
PHARMAXICAM is a drug from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs containing meloxicam.
PHARMAXICAM is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the enolic acid class, which exerts anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects.
The mechanism of action of meloxicam involves the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis due to the selective inhibition of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymatic activity.
Among all anti-inflammatory drugs, meloxicam exhibits the most pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.
Composition
1 vial of 1.5 ml contains 15 mg of meloxicam
Indications
Short-term symptomatic treatment of acute attacks of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
Dosage and Administration
One injection of 15 mg once daily.
Store the vials in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
