Meloxicam

PHARMAXICAM is a medicinal product from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) containing meloxicam.

Meloxicam is an enolic acid class non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects.

The mechanism of action of meloxicam is the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis through selective suppression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzymatic activity.

Among anti-inflammatory drugs, meloxicam demonstrates one of the most pronounced anti-inflammatory effects.

Composition:

Active substance: meloxicam.
1 ml of solution contains 10 mg of meloxicam.
1 vial (1.5 ml) contains 15 mg of meloxicam.
Excipients: meglumine, glycofurol, poloxamer, sodium chloride, glycine, sodium hydroxide, water for injections.

Dosage form:

Solution for injection.

Main physicochemical properties:

Clear yellow or greenish-yellow solution. Interaction studies have been conducted in adults only.

Shelf life:

2 years.

Storage conditions:

Store in the original package at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.

Package:

1.5 ml in a vial; 5 vials in a blister pack;
1 blister pack in a carton.
